André Zlattinger, 35 is a Senior Director at Sotheby's in the British paintings department in London, where he also heads the Scottish sales. He loves to spend time in the Highlands and on the Islands of the West Coast of Scotland.

He has a passion for the mountains and over the years has climbed around the world in the Alps, Scotland, the Andes, Southern Alps and Himalayas; recently climbing the South West ridge of Mount Aspiring in New Zealand. In 2006 he attempted the North Ridge of Everest on the Everestmax expedition; a hugely successful trip in that 9 of the team of 16 reached the summit and 3 of them completed the longest climb on earth from the shores of the Dead Sea to the summit of Everest. He has completed three London marathons running for spinal research and at University rowed at international level.

André lives in Sussex with his wife Ruth and sons Frederick and William.
